This is a discussion list. Campaign volunteers wishing to minimize their e-mail loads are advised to either: (1) request that you be subscribed to the vols-annc list instead (i.e. announcements instead of discussion), or (2) to use their web based administrative access to their list subscription to digest this list or to set it to permit you to read the on-line archives but to not have to see list traffic in your e-mail in-box. Subscribers to this list will see all posts to the annc list. It is unecessary to subscribe to both. Subscribers are asked to acknowledge and respect the often heavy e-mail loads that other list participants often deal with on a day-to-day basis. Consequently, folks are asked to limit posts to matters of campaign organizing strategies, tactics and opportunities. Subscribers are requested to respect the internal nature of the deliberations on this list and to not forward, without the express consent of the affected authors, posts on this list to other lists or web sites which are publicly archived or publicly accessible. Campaign volunteers are welcome and encouraged to share these deliberations internally with other campaign supporters and volunteers without access to email. The following posts are not welcome on this list: -- forwarded action alerts which can be posted on lists of more public and general interest to the broader community of campaign supporters, -- news items or general commentary which would more appropriately see broader distribution, -- messages that are cross posted to other lists. Using vols-dx
To post a message to all the list members, send email to vols-dx@he.campaignfoundations.com. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.
Subscribing to vols-dx
Subscribe to vols-dx by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. Once confirmation is received, your request will be held for approval by the list moderator. You will be notified of the moderator's decision by email. This is also a hidden list, which means that the list of members is available only to the list administrator. Your email address:   Your name (optional):   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription. You can always request a mail-back of your password when you edit your personal options. Once a month, your password will be emailed to you as a reminder.
